Hi Friends!
I am about one week back from my big adventure in and with Anderson Ranch. The images below are from the last two and a half weeks of the residency.
This time was hugely productive for me - see the Lion-Eagle Cloak and resulting photographs from those last couple weeks of culminating work. The photos were shot on a clear night, with the help of fellow resident Rachelle Beaudoin, (long 8-15 second exposures, 1 mile up a mountainside, with Rachelle running to a fro "painting" me with light for a second here and second there). I also included the night-cam stop motion that Rachelle took during our shoot (and our practice shoot a few nights before).
Then Anderson Ranch hosted an Open House where we residents opened our studios to the public for conversation about our work and work in progress - my good friends Janny and Cynthia were able to trek through the snowy roads and get there!
Thank you thank you thank you, thank you very much
